How to turn your last trip into a story tonight

Short answer

Pick one evening and one day. In Roamwell, choose A trip I already took, pick the trip’s dates, and take out what doesn’t belong in Review Photos. Then open your favorite day and make its card: keep the best photos, fix the places, add a title. The other days wait on Days.

If the whole trip is still sitting in Apple Photos or Google Photos, you don’t need a free weekend to fix that. You need one evening, before the name of the square fades.

If the trip is over

  1. Open Roamwell and choose A trip I already took.
  2. Pick the trip’s dates.
  3. In Review Photos, take out screenshots, receipts, and anything else that doesn’t belong.
  4. Finish. Nothing is created until you do.
  5. Open your favorite day on Days and tap Add to board.
  6. Keep the best photos, fix any place that’s wrong, give the day a title, and tap Add. That’s the trip’s first card. The other days are there when you want them.

If you’re on the trip, make it as you go

The best time to make a day’s card is that evening. You still know what the waiter said and why you took the photo of that door.

  1. On Trips, tap Create a trip and turn on Go live. Already have the trip planned? Tap Start a Trip on it.
  2. Travel the way you normally do. Take photos. Tap Check in at a spot you want to remember.
  3. In the evening, tap Make today’s card. The evening guide walks through it.

Do that each night and you come home with the trip’s Board already made.

Missed a night? Or three?

That’s fine. Every earlier day stays open on Days. Catch up on the train, at the airport, or next week at home.

What Roamwell does with a past trip

Before you finish
Nothing is created until you finish Review Photos.
Your photos
They stay in your library on your devices.
