Terms of Service
These terms cover the Roamwell app for iPhone and iPad, the Roamwell web app, and the pages at roamwellapp.com. Piper Kennedy Ventures, LLC (“PKV Apps”, “we”) operates Roamwell. Privacy is a separate page at /privacy.
What Roamwell is
Roamwell is a private travel app for one Trip at a time: Boards for the places you want to go, Trips for the Plan and the day you’re living, and Journal for the Chapters you keep, one for each day. No ads, no public feed. You don’t need an account to use the app.
Your account
Sign in is optional in the app and required on the web. Keep access to the Apple ID or email you sign in with. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at info@roamwellapp.com if you think someone else is using it.
Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Roamwell on Apple devices you own or control, and on the web for your own trips. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell Roamwell.
Your content
You own your photos, Chapters, Boards, and Plans. We don’t claim them. Your photos stay in your library on your devices. Some things leave your device only if you choose: Boards and Plan after you Sign in, emailed plans, Cloud writing, and Diagnostics. The Privacy page says what each one sends and where.
When you use one of those, you let us store and process that content only to run Roamwell for you: to save it, sync it, show it to you on your other devices and the web, and turn booking emails into a Plan. We don’t use it for anything else.
Writing suggestions
If you turn on On this device or Cloud writing, Roamwell suggests lines for your Chapter. Suggestions are a draft. They can be wrong. Read them before you keep them. What you keep is yours.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you share it. If you send a Chapter, a Plan file, or a Board through the share sheet, Instagram, or Facebook, you are sending it to those people or services. Their terms apply to what you post there. Roamwell doesn’t post for you. Only share photos and content you have the right to share.
Not a travel agent
Roamwell is not a travel agent, carrier, or insurer. We don’t sell or book travel. Plans, times, and place names can be wrong or out of date. Check bookings with the airline, hotel, or operator.
Other services
Roamwell uses services from other companies, like Apple (Sign in, Maps, iCloud, Photos) and OpenStreetMap. Their terms apply to those services. We aren’t responsible for them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Roamwell to break the law, harass anyone, send spam, or overload the service. Don’t send booking emails you don’t have the right to use. We may suspend or close an account, or turn off an emailed-plan address, that is abused.
Changes to Roamwell
Roamwell is still early. Features may change, pause, or end. The App Store listing is coming soon.
Ending
You can stop using Roamwell at any time. To delete your account, email info@roamwellapp.com. The Privacy page explains what gets deleted.
As-is
Roamwell is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, PKV Apps is not liable for lost Chapters or Boards, missed bookings, failed shares, or other companies’ services (Apple, Meta, maps, email). Keep your own copies of anything you can’t lose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. If you keep using Roamwell after a change, you accept the new terms.
